This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions to ForgeBox, operated by FuseBox Online CC.
1. Free trial
1.1 ForgeBox offers a 14-day free trial to new accounts.
1.2 No payment is taken during the trial period.
1.3 You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.
2. Monthly subscriptions
2.1 Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for each calendar month.
2.2 We do not offer refunds for monthly subscriptions once the billing period has started.
2.3 If you cancel a monthly subscription, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. No further charges are made after cancellation.
3. Annual subscriptions
3.1 Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months.
3.2 You may request a refund for an annual subscription within 30 days of payment if you are not satisfied with the Service.
3.3 Refunds for annual subscriptions after 30 days are calculated on a pro-rata basis for unused complete months remaining, less a 10% administration fee.
3.4 No refund is issued for partial months used.
Example:
- Annual Starter plan: R4,990
- Cancelled after 3 complete months
- Remaining: 9 months
- Pro-rata refund: (R4,990 / 12) × 9 = R3,742.50
- Less 10% admin fee: R374.25
- Refund amount: R3,368.25
4. Exceptions — no refund
No refund is issued in the following circumstances:
- Account suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
- Downgrade from a higher plan to a lower plan — the higher plan remains active until the end of the billing period.
- Failure to cancel before auto-renewal.
- Dissatisfaction with third-party integrations (Microsoft 365, Slack, GitHub etc.) as these are controlled by third parties.
5. How to request a refund
5.1 Email support@forgebox.net with subject: "Refund Request — [Company Name]".
5.2 Include:
- Your company name
- The email address on the account
- The invoice number (found in Settings → Billing)
- Reason for the refund request
5.3 We will respond within 3 business days.
5.4 Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
6. Disputes
6.1 If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us at support@forgebox.net within 30 days of the charge.
6.2 We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
6.3 If we are unable to resolve the dispute, you may escalate to PayFast or your bank.
